I am a husband, a father, a follower of Christ, a teacher, an artist, and a child at heart.

I have lived in North Carolina my entire life.  I was born in Charlotte and moved to the then small town of Matthews with my parents at the age of four.  The oldest of three, I have a sister and a brother. We have always been a close family and I appreciate their love and support throughout my life.

I attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and graduated with a BA in Studio Art.  I also received Minor degrees in Classical Studies and Psychology.

It was at UNCW where I met the love of my life, Jen.  The two of us became best friends and began dating after a few years.  After graduation, I decided to “pop the question” to Jen on Christmas Day eve in 2004.  We were married September 9, 2006 on the beach at Ocean Isle Beach, NC.

My wife and I live in Matthews with our precious 2-year-old son, Robert.  I taught Art on the middle and elementary school levels from 2005 – 2008.  I currently work at an internet marketing and consulting firm in the Ballantyne area of Charlotte. Jen has been a Kindergarten Teacher Assistant for five years and is now working towards her Masters In Education at UNCC.  

Jen and I are also are very involved in our church, Elevation.  We are volunteer leaders in the 3-6-year-old class every weekend and love being a part of God’s work in our city.  We are big Disney fans and enjoy vacationing as a family through the Disney Vacation Club.  Completeing our family are three adorable dogs, Wendy, Louie and our newest family member, Lady. You can guess where their names came from.
